Flopping in the NBA will cost you $5,000

Reggie Evans diving flop in the game Tuesday night

Attention Neymar and Suarez…if you played in the NBA, you would be fined for your flops! Just ask Brooklyn Nets star Reggie Evans. He decided to take a dive and draw an offensive foul. Trouble with that plan? The dive was so patently obvious the refs decided no flagrant foul was committed. Now Evans is in the eye sights of the NBA brass. ESPN reports his next violation would result in a $10,000 fine. A fourth violation would result in a $15,000 fine, a fifth $30,000, and six or more could lead to a suspension.

If only FIFA would adopt these rules! Jump back to these floppers!

Bettor Hits Two Parlays, Wins Over $65K

That’s a $65,704 payout for beating $105.

Hitting a 10-team betting parlay is hard. Hitting two of them in the same weekend is nearly downright impossible. But as one bettor proved, it can be done.
The lucky winner made his or her wagers at BetOnline before the weekend’s games started. The first was a 10-team NFL and college football parlay on which he/she wagered $100, ran the table and received a $60,407 payout. The second was a modest $5 bet on an 11-team NFL and college football parlay with the exact same teams except the addition of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. That yielded a $4,667 payout.
That’s a $65,704 payout for beating $105.

“We always want to highlight the athletes who perform on nearly superhuman levels,” “Sports Science” host John Brenkus said. “And really, nobody in sports presents a better case study of a player who spectacularly collapses under the pressure of a professional athletic stage than Tony Romo.”
